DIY Simple bracelets - 2 Styles

Are you looking for a simple handmade gift for your mom this mother's day? I got you covered. Today I'm sharing simple DIY bracelets that anyone can make with supplies easily available. Are you ready to wear the DIY hat and start making gorgeous bracelets for you mom? Let's get to the work.

simple DIY bracelets using eye pin and beads
Materials Required:
Eye pin
Chain
Jump rings
Lobster clasp
Extension link
Beads or charms
Pliers - Flat nose & Round nose pliers

Style - 1
Step 1: String the beads in the desired pattern on to an eye pin.

Step 2: Use round nose pliers and make another eye by twisting the remaining wire.

Step 3: Use a jump ring to add a chain on both the sides of the eyepin. The chain I used measures 2.5" in length on each side. It varies depending on the bracelet size you are making. The bracelet I made measures 7" in length including the lobster clasp when hooked to the first link of the extension link.

Step 4: Attach lobster clasp to one end of the chain and extension link to the other using a jump ring to complete the bracelet. If you want you can slightly bend the eye pin by placing the finished bracelet on the top of your hand and bend it so that it accomodates to the curved shape of the hand.

Style 2:

This is very similar to the previous style with slight variations. Instead of,single chain, here I have used two chain for the sides and a chain in the middle to add more elegance to the simple style. To do this, you will need the same supplies and an extra chain of length 2" for the center.

Repeat the step 1 and 2 from the above style:

Step 3: Add two chain to both the sides of the eye pin using pliers and jump rings.

Step 4: Attach lobster clasp using jump ring and joining the two chains and repeat the same on the another end to attach the extension link.

Step 5 : Now open the jump rings on the either side of the eye pin and add the center chain. You can also do this while adding the chains in the step 3. The bracelet is now done.

How simple and easy are these bracelets? Hope you like these simple designs. There are lot of variaition that you do with this technique. I have used a rose charm in the second instead of beads in the second style and also added an extra chain. Likewise, you can put your own twist in the bracelets you make to suit your mom's style.Have you done anything like this before for mother's day? Share what you think about these bracelets in the comments below.
