Treats box for valentine's day - Free cut file

Are you looking for a small and cute gift box or a treat box to put your tiny special gift for your loved one? You have come to the right place. Download the free printable template for treats box and make your own.

Materials Required:
A craft knife / Electronic cutting machine - I am using a Silhouette electronic cutting machine
Cardstock
A piece of a transparent sheet
Double-sided tape
Clear tape

Free Cut File for the treat box

Step 1: Download the cut file and open it in your cutting machine's software (In my case it is silhouette studio). Load the mat with Cardstock, select cardstock in the blade settings, and adjust the blade if necessary. Send it to silhouette for cutting and once it is done, weed the extras. The template should look as shown below.

If you don't have a cutting machine, print the pdf file on cardstock and use scissors to cut along the outside lines, and craft knife for the dotted lines and intricate cuts. Dotted cut lines are for easy and neat folding edges.
You can make one template and use it to trace on other cardstock if you are going to be make many. Or print and cut it all the cardstocks. The option is up to you to decide.

Step 2: Take a piece of transparent sheet and cover the heart area on the back using double-sided tape.

Step 3: Use double-sided tape on the side flap to make the shape of the treat box.

Step 4: Fold the bottom and add a piece of tape for extra security.

Step  5: Fold on the scored lines on the sides. Place the treats/gifts inside the box and close the lid. That's it!! Your cute little box is ready to gift to your loved one <3.

These treat boxes can be customized according to the occasion. You can remove the heart cut shape and use the box for any occasion. You can use stamps or just markers to write a simple message to make it personalized. Options are endless. Hope you like this simple and cute treat box. I made this treat box inspired by the Hershey's kisses box which has three big hazelnut centered kisses from the dollar tree. Share what you think about this treat box in the comments below. As always I will be happy to hear from you.
