DIY Tangram puzzle using cardboard

When my son showed a sudden interest in solving tangram puzzles I felt I needed to make the basic one on the very same day so I quickly grabbed a cardboard box and made this DIY Tangram puzzle. It is very easy to make and can be done in less than an hour. Let's see how.

Materials Used:

  • Cardboard/Any shipping box
  • Markers to color different shapes
  • Craft knife to cut
  • Hot glue
  • Ruler and Pencil
Step 1: Draw a square of any size you want the final tangram to be. I drew a 7" inch square using ruler and pencil, then made the shapes inside.

  1. First, split the square diagonally.
  2. Then, split the half into two triangles.
  3. Then, draw a square following the centerline to the left or right, you will get a 2" square.
  4. Fill the shapes with color using markers.
Or download my template, glue it to the cardboard, and cut the shapes.

Step 2: Draw a half-inch border on all the sides of the square.

Step 3: Use a craft knife and cut all the shapes, including the half inch border.

Step 4: Glue the half border to another bigger cardboard piece. Cut the cardboard piece using a craft knife along the border for the puzzle base. Now the puzzle is ready to play.

The puzzle can also be played by making various designs.

While seeking assistance, it's important to remember that education is about personal growth and learning. Instead of relying on others to "write my persuasive essay for me," we should embrace the opportunity to express our own ideas and perspectives, fostering intellectual independence and creativity.

  12. An accessible playground provides inclusive play opportunities for children of all abilities. It features ramps, wide pathways, and sensory-rich play elements like tactile panels and musical instruments. Swings with back support and harnesses accommodate children with mobility challenges, while rubberized surfaces ensure safety for wheelchair users. Braille signage and visual cues aid those with vision impairments, and quiet spaces offer respite for sensory-sensitive children.

Inclusive design fosters social interaction, empathy, and understanding among all children, promoting a sense of belonging and equality. Accessible playgrounds not only accommodate diverse needs but also celebrate the uniqueness of every child, fostering joy and friendship through play.

  13. This project is not only a great way to recycle materials, but it also provides a wonderful educational tool for kids and adults alike to develop their spatial reasoning skills. Plus, it's a perfect way to take a break from more stressful tasks, like studying for exams. Speaking of exams, I've been so swamped lately that I had to look for someone to take my HESI test online. Balancing schoolwork with fun DIY projects can be challenging, but it's important to find time for both. Has anyone else tried making their own Tangram puzzle? I'd love to hear how it turned out and if you have any tips!

He found the process straightforward, and the writer delivered a well-structured paper that met all his requirements. The service saved him a lot of time, especially during a busy period with other projects. He was really satisfied with the quality and would recommend it to other students in need of essay assistance.
