Candy Crush Inspired Pen Holder

When I was playing Candy crush saga,I couldn't move beyond 23 levels and I don't have patience to try more than 3 times. So I thought Why not make a pen holder with all those candies. When I searched the internet for a material to make these candies, Google showed me "Polymer Clay".Yes!This is my first polymer clay creation. Now let us see how to make it.

Materials required:
Glass
Masking tape /duct tape
Etching cream
Polymer clay(red,orange,blue,purple,yellow,chocolate.green and white)
Glue(Epoxy glue/Super glue)
Gloss Glaze
Step 1:
Divide the glass into small squares using masking tape /duct tape.

Step 2 : Apply etching cream over the glass and follow the instructions on the label.I used Martha Stewart etching cream. After applying the cream, wait for 15 to 20 minutes and wash the cream.Be careful while doing this process.Wear gloves while applying and washing the etching cream.Safety first.

Step 3 : Condition your polymer clay(I used sculpey III) by kneading it or running through your pasta machine(if you have). Now its time to make the candies.I used different colours like red, yellow, orange ,purple and white to give stripes to some of the candies same as it looks like in the game. After making the candies ,Bake it according to the instructions on the label.Mine is 275 degrees for 15 min.
Step 4: After it is baked ,I used epoxy glue to stick the candies to the squares of the glass.

Step 5 :To give a shiny look, I coated the candies with Triple thick gloss glaze.Voila, now you can keep your pen, pencils, brushes into this colorful candy crush pen holder.

Note : You can also stick them to the glass and bake. As this was my first project with clay I used glue to stick it.
